  2. TISS Net 2021 exam pattern consists of three major sections with different number of questions in each section.
  3. The exam offers admission to various management programmes at different campuses of Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
  4. It will be an online CBT exam comprising MCQ type questions.
  5. TISSNET exam pattern has remained same for last many years.

TISSNET 2020 Analysis

GK section was moderate to difficult, not from a content perspective, but from a question formation perspective. Questions were framed more on the lines of UPSC GK, and less on the lines of traditional GK which has come in TISSNET for the last 4-5 years. Hence, despite GK not being very difficult, some candidates found it very difficult.

  1. Contemporary GK questions were missing this year in TISSNET GK Section
  2. Rivers, National Parks, Geography saw a miss this year, while they had been favourite topics in previous years .
  3. 1 question from international current affairs was asked .
  4. Overall TISSNET GK had around 25 – 27 questions from our GK Study.
  5. Mathematical Reasoning & Quantitative Ability questions were slightly easy. More use cases and language questions. 8-10 questions were asked in language form.
  6. English Proficiency & Language was easy except 1 RC which was difficult.
  7. 2 RC Questions with 4 questions each, 3 Para jumbles, 4 error detection, 4 antonyms and synonyms, 2 logical arrangements, 1 logical deduction were the questions covered

Expected TISSNET Cut-off 2020:
TISSNET Cut-off is expected to fall this year due to some strange questions in the paper, which have never traditionally been part of the TISSNET Exam. We expect HRM and ODCL cut-off to fall by 3-4 marks as compared to last year, and for other courses it should fall by 2-3 marks.

In case of the Integrated M. Phil-PhD Programme, there is no requirement of work experience. However, candidates with one to two years of work experience will be preferred.
TISS is one of the top destinations to pursue studies in the social sciences in India, with numerous courses available for students regardless of their stream. Social sciences offer job opportunities that will help change the society.
According to the experts, TISSNET difficulty level is among the lowest compared to the other MBA entrance exams. However, if one has not taken CAT, IIFT, SNAP or other MBA entrance exams, then exclusive preparation for the admission test of TISS will become useful.
